Ask the kids. It’s a simple philosophy that gets great outcomes but one the Government sector too often ignore or pay lip service to. At Unley Council our staff take engagement seriously, especially with the next generation.
Sitting atop the Unley Oval mound is a playground in the shape of a ship. It looks as if it is on the crest of a wave and could come thundering down onto the oval at any stage.
The playground is past it’s used by date and needs to be replaced. Unley engaged with the kids of our community and around 100 kids provided useful feedback that will form the blueprint for what eventuates.
Great work to all involved, especially the kids and the biggest kid of them all John Wilkinson from Unley Council who is overseeing this project.
