I want to invite you all to an exhibition which shines a light on life 100 years ago. Our former Governor of SA the Rear Admiral The Honourable Kevin Scarce will be opening the exhibition on Sunday 23rd of November at 2pm. I know many of you are yet to be tourists in your own neighbourhoods and haven’t yet been to your own museum so I hope you take the opportunity of this exhibition opening to come along. The Unley museum is located at the Old Unley Fire Station, 80 Edmund Avenue (it’s between Unley Road and Unley Oval). Did I mention there will be music, food and drink? So if possible, please just let our museum curator Elizabeth know you are coming by emailing (email@example.com) or calling (8372 5117).
If you miss the opening do not worry! The exhibition is the important part and there is a heap to learn about life at home in war. Visitors can immerse themselves in news, music and stories from the era. Come and view the timeline of local and global events as well as our own wall of honour. Visitors can also have a go at the military, luck and strategy game.
