Council Meeting August 11th, 2014 – Download the Agenda Here

Have you ever wondered what the rules are for those pesky election posters? Are you interested in aged care, animal welfare or public health? How about the future of the Heart of the City of Unley?

The irregular mid month August Council meeting has a number of interesting agenda items that should be of interest to a wide variety on Unleyites. I’m rather sorry I will be an apology for this meeting but I have every confidence the outcomes will reflect the will of the people in line with our motto “Salus Populi Lex Suprema Est” which roughly translates as, “The Will/Walfare of the People is the Supreme Law”.

The Council meeting commences at 7pm. It’s a little hard to single out the reports as a huge amount of effort goes into them all but very excited about how the the City of Unley team have gone about dealing with the Aged Care Reform, Living Well Regional Health Plan, Goodwood and Millswood Sporting Improvement Plan and the Unley Central Precinct Plan.

Those last three items I mentioned are “plans” so there will be more to follow depending on how the Council receives them but the item on our Aged Care response, really has some interesting opportunities for the Eastern Region Alliance (ERA) which Unley will be the lead on.
