Migrant Resource Centre of SA AGM – unlocking the next steps to Australia’s Future

Attended the Migrant Resource Centre AGM tonight where about 50 volunteers were recognized for their efforts during the year in front of almost 200 members and supporters.

It was good to see both sides of Parliament recognizing the great work of this centre through Paul Caica and David Pisoni.

Local Government was well represented and thanked by the Chair and CEO for all close relationship that has developed over the years.

I was especially keen to pick up a book of Prof Andrew Jakubowicz book “For Those Who’ve Come Across the Seas”. He’s a lecturer from Sydney and he launched this book of his tonight. I’m particularly looking forward to reading chapters 1-7,9-12,18&19. This book may help me to unlock some ideas I have about the next steps in Australian Multiculturalism.
